Fall registration for Eastern rec league baseball ended  Saturday, August 3rd, 2024.

Registration for fall baseball is held in July-August 3rd, and the season takes place August, September and October of each year. For the fall season, all games typically happen on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. The only divisions are 8U, 10U and 12U.

• After the registration period, all players will attend a draft and will be placed on their team after their evaluations have been reviewed. *If after the registration period and before the first practice/game, it is at the discretion of the Director and the Eastern League Board of Directors as to where those athletes are able to participate in the selected season.
• According to the USSSA age cut-offs, athletes must be between the ages of 5-12 years, as of May 1st of the current calendar year.
• Offering 5U Tee-Ball to limited 4 year olds from the community.
• Coach pitch 6U is separated and it's own stand-alone league.
• The Eastern League provides each athlete a jersey, hat, socks and a belt included in the registration fee.
• The Eastern League provides a hitting tee to each 5U and 6U team.
• The Eastern League provides a pitcher's mask to each 6U and 8U team.
• The Eastern League provides a set of catcher's gear to each 8U, 10U and 12U team.
• The Eastern League provides each team with NLT baseballs at the beginning of the season.
• Parents are responsible for ensuring their athlete has white baseball pants, a batting helmet, bat(s), and any additional or safety gear that may be needed, including but not limited to, chest protector, batting gloves, sliding shorts, cleats. 
• The only bats approved in practice/games are any bat that is stamped "USA" or "USSSA".
• The Eastern League will follow USSSA Recreational Rules. To review these rules, please click here.
• The Eastern League typically has a minimum of 12 regular season games per team.
• The Eastern League games will be played at Cove Park (located at 834 SE Old 431 Highway, Hampton Cove, AL 35763), Goldsmith-Schiffman Elementary School (located at 1210 Taylor Road, Owens Cross Roads, AL 35763), and could include other locations nearby depending on age division ratios. (Because our older divisions typically have a greater number of  teams within the Eastern League, these teams will play a limited amount of games away from our fields/facilities.)
• The Eastern League 8U-12U teams will be entered into the USSSA Mid-Season Region 8 Tournament.
